Knot boards are custom
made in Western New York State, U.S.A. The knot boards are made
following the old sailor tradition of knot tying while at port. The
knots in our knot boards are tied locally by the skillful members of
the Amish community using hemp and nylon rope. Once tied, the ropes
are displayed in a rich mahogany frame with typical brass cornice
corners.
